An agricultural hub will appear in Ecopolis HTZ of Yaroslavskyi

Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi plans to invest more than $1 billion in Ecopolis HTZ over the next 10 years

On October 10, the next agro-industrial forum Agroport opened in Kharkiv. "Business capital" reports about it.

It was first held in the “first capital” in 2015 with the assistance of the DCH group of Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi and the regional authorities, as well as with the support and participation of the UN World Food Organization (FAO). Since then, the project has expanded its geographical scope, acquired “branches” in Lviv and Kherson, and in Kharkov annually gathers participants from all over Ukraine in the first ten days of October.

Agroport-2019, according to the statement of its general manager Dmitry Titarenko, will be the starting point of a new stage in the history of the forum.

"The future of the agrarian sector directly lies in the field of innovation. Therefore, today it’s not the format of periodic expositions and conferences that are more relevant, but the permanent experimental demonstration sites with a scientific component. This is how we see Agroport in the coming years as an advanced agro-industrial innovative park," said Titarenko.

The DCH group of Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi represented by Ecopolis HTZ supported the initiative of the Agroport team. On behalf of DCH, the CEO of DCH Real Estate&Infrastructure signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation between the Ecopolis HTZ innovative park and the future Agrihub agro-industrial park from Agroport.

As previously reported, Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi plans to invest more than $ 1 billion in Ecopolis HTZ over the next 10 years. Within the framework of the innovation park, industrial, logistics, commercial, educational and scientific clusters will function, to which Agrihub agricultural technology will now be added.

Olena Derevyanko, vice president of DCH, at the opening of the Agroport-2019 forum noted: "New economic realities and technological progress require adequate approaches and communication formats for parties interested in the development of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex. Therefore, we welcome and support the initiative to transform Agroport into an innovative agro-industrial park At one time, Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi and the DCH group gave Kharkov a serious incentive for economic development by creating the infrastructure of Euro 2012, including modern Kharkiv airport. Now we are creating an ecosystem to stimulate innovation and investment activity in our native Kharkiv region. Agroport in its Kharkiv part simply moves from the airport to the legendary Kharkiv Tractor Plant."
