Companies IC “INGO” and “Ecopolis HTZ” Owned by Yaroslavskyi are Creating a Modern Medical Centre for the Kharkiv City Citizens

The new generation business park “Ecopolis HTZ” of DCH group owned by Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi, a famous Ukrainian businessman, will become a part of Kharkiv's development strategy for the next decade and a centre for the development of industrially specific researches and modern medicine for the citizens. It was reported today by representatives of companies from DCH group during a discussion of the Kharkiv city development strategy for 2020-2030. The city development strategy also includes the essential component of social infrastructure, i.e. modern medical services. The event was attended by representatives of city and regional authorities in the field of health maintenance, deputies of the Kharkiv City Council, doctors and representatives of the National Health Service in Ukraine. They discussed the development strategy of urban medicine in the context of the development of Kharkiv and the region, the creation of a modern medical service focused on meeting the needs of citizens.

“This project of DCH group owned by the famous businessman Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi will have a huge impact on the development of medicine and innovation in the field of healthcare in Kharkiv”, said Tatyana Gavrish, coordinator of the Kharkiv expert group supporting medical reform and honorary consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kharkiv, during the discussion presenting the project of DCH group.

Yuriy Ponomarenko, a representative of INGO Insurance Company, who took part in the event, announced the investment of Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi of about $5 million to create a modern medical centre in the business park.

“DCH Group pays great attention to the development of the investment direction in the field of medicine. ‘Ecopolis HTZ’ Medical Hub presumes the creation of a modern high-tech clinic at the territory of the business park. The medical cluster at ‘Ecopolis HTZ’ will satisfy the demand for a multidisciplinary and high-tech modern clinic for the population, for employees of adjacent large industrial enterprises. Creating a modern medical cluster solves a significant social problem for Kharkiv – the issue of providing citizens with access to modernised medical services,” said Yuriy Ponomarenko.

IC “INGO” and the medical centre “INGO” (which have the expertise and experience in creating high-tech medical facilities) will become the project’s operator from DCH Group.

Yuriy Ponomarenko recalled that IC “INGO”, one of the three leaders in voluntary health insurance in Ukraine, as well as the top ten in life insurance, is the only Ukrainian insurance company that has its ultra-modern clinic in Kyiv, which was built by the company “from a green field”:

“Our experience allows us to organise the work of the clinic and patient care using modern technologies and solutions. In 2014, we built a large ultramodern clinic in Kyiv with advanced equipment covering more than 2,600 square meters and the best specialists. Since that time, IC ‘INGO’ has been considering the possibility of building a similar clinic in Kharkiv and Dnipro. As a part of the project of DCH group of Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi to create a medical cluster at ‘Ecopolis HTZ’, we can begin the implementation of this project. Kharkiv needs it. The clinic will also become an essential component of quality service for IC ‘INGO’ clients.”

Kharkiv will get a modern clinic building with a wide range of primary medical services at the territory of “Ecopolis HTZ” by 2023. The latest diagnostic equipment will be installed there, and secondary health care will be opened.

Vadim Khanenko, a curator of “Ecopolis HTZ” virology centre, said at the event that thanks to investments of Yaroslavskyi’s DCH to Ukraine and Kharkiv, there will be no need to look for test systems around the world in emergencies:

The project to create the most advanced virological centre announced by Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi is already underway. The premises are being prepared, and equipment is purchased, the staff is being selected, work is being done directly with scientists and researchers in the field of virology. We are negotiating with the Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Health, and also with leading university research platforms of Kharkiv and Ukraine. Soon you will be able to see modern test systems made in Kharkiv.

The planned volume of investments in the development of Ecopolis HTZ business, technological, industrial and research ecosystem amounts up to $1 billion by 2033. The implementation of the project will create at least 10 thousand modern jobs.
