Ecopolis HTZ Owned by Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi as the Anchor Project in the Kharkiv Development Strategy

By the end of this year, it is contemplated to make the master plan of the project and immediately start performing design and construction works

Ecopolis HTZ, the new-generation business park implemented by Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi's DCH, is included in the Kharkiv development strategy for 2020–2030. In addition, Ecopolis HTZ was called the anchor project according to this document. This was announced by Aleksandr Novak, the Secretary of the Kharkiv City Council, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.

It is also reported that Vitaly Barannikov, the director of the Ecopolis HTZ's management company, joined the working team that creates the Kharkiv development strategy.

"At the moment, we have invited international companies to develop a business concept of the project: Cushman&Wakefield, EGIS (France), and 10 Design (Great Britain), its architect firm, to develop an architectural concept and master plan of the project. In parallel, we are actively attracting residents to the business park. We have already signed the memorandum with ZTE, a large Chinese telecommunications company, in the presence of the mayor of Kharkiv. We are cooperating with a number of scientific and educational institutions in Kharkiv. And, in addition, we are actively negotiating with global high-tech companies including Alibaba, Huawei, Cisco, etc.," Vitaly Barannikov said during a meeting of the working team.

By the end of this year, it is contemplated to make the master plan of the project and immediately start performing design and construction works according to his information.

To recap, the Ecopolis HTZ business park will be located on the territory of the Kharkiv Tractor Plant after significant redevelopment of its territory. KhTP will remain the core of the industrial part in the business park.

It is planned to invest USD 1 billion, which will allow providing at least 13 thousand jobs in Kharkiv thanks to the development of the industrial park, IT cluster, medical center, logistics center and trade cluster, agro-technological cluster, and research (R&D) and educational centers.
